Comment:

This study used radioactive mercury to test for mercury contamination from dental amalgam fillings, and results showed that mercury contamination in surrounding tissue occurred.

Abstract / Excerpt:

“A number of histological and spedrographie studies have been made of the problem of resorption of mercury from dental silver amalgam fillings.  In view of the somewhat contradictory results, the authors have studied this problem using radioactive mercury.”
