Comment:

The authors of this study note, “A perhaps alarming observation shows that fresh air into the office in the ventilation system averaged 6 ug/m3…By a statistical curiosity, the dentists surveyed had lower ambients in their offices than the fresh air circulation in their buildings; the difference is not significant, but the thought that their neighbours may be a high direct source of contamination is significant.”

Abstract / Excerpt:

“A group of dentists had their offices monitored for mercury vapour and content.  Low values were found compared to other surveys, but a variety of locations of a reservoir of mercury-rich materials was identified.”
